Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Raoâs Ishq Vishk gets a sequel
Looks like sequels are a thing this year in Bollywood. After films like Sadak, Student Of The Year, Housefull, and Hindi Medium, it’s now Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao’s Ishq Vishk, which will have a sequel. The film marked Shahid Kapoor’s debut and did well at the box-office as well.
According to the latest report in Mumbai Mirror, producer Ramesh Taurani confirmed the news. He was quoted saying, “Yes, we are making a sequel to Ishq Vishk. The story is in the scripting stage and could be about a teenage romance. Hopefully, in the next two-three months, we will lock the script and start looking for the director and cast.”
Helmed by Ken Ghosh, Ishq Vishk, was the story of a young boy (Shahid Kapoor), who wanted to date the most beautiful girl in college. Fans couldn’t help but fall in love with Shahid and Amrita’s onscreen chemistry.
On the work front, Shahid will be seen next in Kabir Singh, which is a remake of the critically acclaimed Telugu film Arjun Reddy. The film also stars Kiara Advani opposite Shahid in the lead and hits the screens on June 21 this year.
