Unmissable Katy Perry and Dua Lipa set the stage on fire at their Mumbai concert
Last night was magical as Mumbai witnessed one of the biggest performances ever by pop sensations Katy Perry and Dua Lipa. Ever since the two arrived in India, there was a lot being talked about their concert and fans were thrilled to watch the ladies take the centre stage. Their first-ever Mumbai concert took place at the DY Patil Stadium.
Known to be extremely sweet, Katy started the concert by saying, “Today, I will sing every song you love,” and guess what she did exactly the same with Dua Lipa and turned the night into a memorable one. Perry performed on her every chartbuster right from Last Friday Night, Bon Appetit, Supernatural to California Gurls and I Kissed A Girl. She looked just so stunning in a neon green off-shoulder jumpsuit.
Ecstatic to be present and performing, Katy cheered the crowd by saying, “Hello, I am Katy Perry and I am told that this is your winter. You know what, you have been cheering for me. You should give yourselves a round of applause. It's been 7 years since I was last in India. I can't believe myself. Look how many people showed up.”
Meanwhile, for Dua Lipa on stage, the pop star only had some really nice things to say. Katy said, “How many of you had so much fun watching Dua Lipa? I have a crush on Dua Lipa. Make some noise if you also have a crush on Dua Lipa. If Dua and I were together, would you ship us? Unfortunately, it's not in this lifetime because I have been promised to someone else. But she did such a fantastic job.”
