Kangana Ranaut gets into trouble with Womenâs Commission after her comments in an interview rubs them the wrong way
Queen star, Kangana Ranaut is known for her unapologetic behavior and because of this she has been in the news for quite a while. Kangana’s interview regarding the 2016 legal battle with Hrithik Roshan has gone viral and is also taking a toll on Kangana’s life.
In the interview, Kangana spoke about how she went for help to Women’s Commission but they were biased against her. She quoted, "Vishal Bhardwaj suggested me to take help from Women’s Commission after Hrithik sent me a notice, threatening to make my personal pictures and videos viral. First, they took my case up but after a few days, they called me, saying, ‘We have good relations with Rakesh Ji, you should not speak much. You should go easy.’ I was shocked and since then I hate Women’s Commission. Imagine if they can be unfair to a Bollywood star like me, what would other common women go through if they go to them! Women’s Commission is fake, and has been bought."
To this, Vijaya Rahatkar , the chairperson of Maharashtra State Commission for Women twitter, "Deeply disturbed by Ms.Kangana Ranaut's irresponsible statement where she has made grave allegations against the Womens Commission."
She added, "Neither has Ms.Kangana Ranaut ever approached Women's Commission nor is Gurmeet Chadda associated with MSCW in any way."
She ended by saying, "MSCW is fully committed to the cause of women in distress. Unfortunate that Ms.Ranaut has chosen to project us wrongly.”
Kangana’s sister Rangoli tweets Vijaya Rahatkar back, "Dear mam u r a year late to dis Gurmeet is the VP f Mahila congres and she said she's also relatd to woman comission @VijayaRahatkar"
She further tweeted, "@VijayaRahatkar After her meeting with Mr. Rakesh Roshan she told me woman comission can't help us."

She concluded by saying, "Wt are we supos to do if she tells us woman comision can't help us she's a big name ws givn to us by some influential ppl. @VijayaRahatkar"
