Irrfan Khan-Deepika Padukone's 'Sapna Didi' makers fail to get rights?
Irrfan Khan and Deepika Padukone
The makers of the Irrfan Khan and Deepika Padukone-starrer are now claiming their project is not based on a real-life story. When announced earlier in the year, it was described to be a biopic on mafia queen Rahima Khan, also known as Sapna Didi.
The film will be directed by Honey Trehan, a long-time associate of Vishal Bharadwaj. Last evening, a statement issued by T-Series said the film was fictional and was untitled. We assume this sudden clarification has something to do with the rights issue.
