Salman Khan’s next film with Ali Abbas Zafar is titled Bharat

Salman Khan who has been busy with his film Tubelight was also lately busy shooting for Tiger Zinda Hai opposite Katrina Kaif. According to the sources Salman is all set to collaborate once again with his brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri and filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar. Finally, the film’s title has been locked and it’s called Bharat. The are still working on the theme of the film.



Madhur Bhandarkar's short film Mumbai Mist receives incredible response at BRICS film festival

National award winning filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar who’s known for his unique ideas, recently got his short film Mumbai Mist premiered the prestigious BRICS film festival in China. After Aamir Khan’s Dangal it was Madhur’s film Mumbai Mist that impressed the audiences in China.
The film stars Annu Kapoor, Master Devrath, Parvin Dabas, Jonita Doda and Jitin Sippy.
Mumbai Mist was made as part of the 'magnificent five-directors' collaboration project for the BRICS Film Festival this year in China, wherein five filmmakers have been roped in to make 18-minute shorts on the theme “Where Has The Time Gone?” ​



Neerja Bhanot's family to sue Neerja filmmakers

Rumours of Neerja Bhanot’s family having issues with film’s producers has been doing rounds since ages. Now, according to a leading daily, Neerja Bhanot’s family has filed a petition against the makers of Neerja in Chandigarh High Court for criminal conspiracy.

Talking about the same, Bhanot family’s legal advisor Hemant Saini, shared, “The parties entered into an agreement which promised the family 10 per cent profits, over and above the initial stipulated amount. Now, the producers are indicating that the contract referred to the percentage made by Bling alone, and not by both the producers. They claim that the amount the family is demanding belongs to Fox, which, they say, is not a party to the agreement. They say most of the profits have gone to the studio and they can only give what they have.”



Salman Khan’s film Sultan wins the Best Action Film Award at the Shanghai International Film Festival

Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer Sultan has won the Best Action Film Award at the Shanghai International Film Festival becoming the first Indian film to bag an award at the esteemed festival.
Expressing his delight over the victory, director Ali Abbas Zafar said, “We are very happy with all the love and respect we got at SIFF. Receiving an award under the action category from Jackie Chan is just super special. As a child he has been one of the most inspiring action stars for me and many Indians.  Sultan is about desi, Indian wrestling and it’s raw power. Amidst a selection of brilliant action films that present the most refined martial arts, the film’s win is rewarding, and reflects that a good story based in action has universal appeal.”



Jab Harry Met Sejal feels the censor board’s ire for using word ‘intercourse’ in the second promo

Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer Jab Harry Met Sejal’s mini trailers are spreading like a wild fire on the internet. The second mini promo, where Anushka uttered the word 'intercourse' in one of the scenes has been disapproved by the CBFC.  Central Board of Film Certification chief Pahlaj Nihalani said that he would clear the use of word ‘intercourse’ in both the trailers and the movie if he gets the support of the common people. Well, in an interview with a channel, he said, “You take voting from the public and I will clear the word (intercourse) on the promo and the film also. I want 1 lakh votes and I want to see that India has changed and Indian families want their 12-year-old kids to understand the meaning of this word (intercourse)."

After watching the trailer, he granted them a U/A certificated but the team of Jab Harry Met Sejal has uploaded an uncut trailer on Youtube to which Pahlaj Nihalani added, “They've uploaded the uncut trailer on YouTube. The CBFC cannot stop content on the internet. But we can and will stop the broadcast of the uncensored footage on television,”

For now, all you guys need to know is that Jab Harry Met Sejal releases on August 4.
