While all of us are aware of Salman Khan’s crazy fan following and how he’s been ‘critic-proof’ always, Tubelight he believes the critics were good and he did not expect so much.

As the film hit the theatres yesterday, it opened to a fair business at the box office and the fans ofcourse loved it. But critics on the other hand aren’t as happy as they always are with Salman’s film.

At an event recently, when Salman was aksed about the same, he was quoted saying, "The critics were really good..  I was expecting -3 and -4, they have given me 1-1 1/2 stars apparently. Yeah, so I am very pleased with that."

Further when asked about the film receiving mixed reviews, Salman said,  "Yes, they were expecting a different kind of film. I have been receiving text messages saying that they got emotional watching the two brothers dance, also the scene where I cry when Bharat is leaving for war and the Tinka song, so we had prepared the audience for a beautiful, simple, emotional film about two brothers, every film will have mixed reviews, some might like it some might not."

Well, mixed or not so good, we have our own take on the film and we bet the box office is going to go house full this weekend.
