New daddy Saif Ali Khan who’s reasonably busy with his daddy duties towards his son Taimur Ali Khan seems to be on a roll with his film choices. After giving us a brilliant performance in his last film Rangoon, the actor is prepping up for his next titled Kaalakaandi.

The film is produced by Ashi Dua and Cinestaan Film Company Pvt Ltd with Delhi Belly writer Akshat Verma making his directorial debut. Other than Saif Ali Khan, film’s star cast include Deepak Dobriyal, Vijay Raz, Kunal Roy Kapoor, Sobhita Dhulipala, Akshay Oberoi, Isha Talwar, Shenaz Treasury, Shivam Patil, Amyra Dastur and Neil Bhoopalam.

Interestingly, film’s story was written keeping specifically Saif in mind and the actor seems really happy being a part of the film.

In a recent conversation with a leading tabloid, Saif shared, “Kaalakaandi is a film I’m so happy to be a part of! It’s a cross section of Mumbai with underwood goons, doomed bankers and idealistic lovers all mixed together in this karmic tale about love, crime and living a lifetime in one night!! Akshat has written and directed this unique movie and he is probably the only voice who tells it exactly like it actually is. Mumbai is a crazy, beautiful city and he is captured it perfectly in this very fun and very moving film.”

Sounds much fun, we are super excited!!
