Akshay Kumar to be Pad Man
We all have heard of Spiderman, Batman, Iron Man, Superman and many more such Hollywood superheroes but now India is going to have its first ‘real’ superhero and it’s called Pad Man. Yes, you heard it right. It’s a real superhero because it doesn’t have supernatural powers like our very own Krishh, but he has strong will power and that’s how he managed to solve the problems of rural Indian women. And who better to play an Indian superhero than our own Khiladi, Akshay Kumar.
Akshay Kumar's wife Twinkle Khanna is now turning producer with film Pad Man and the superstar himself will be seen playing the lead in it. Pad Man being directed by R Balki is based on a true inspiring story of a Tamil Nadu based social entrepreneur Arunachalam Muruganantham who is known as the India's ‘Menstruation Man’. The film will show the journey of Arunachalam Muruganantham who is known to make affordable sanitary napkins for women in village.
Akshay Kumar shared the first glimpse of Pad Man on his social media platforms in which we see a sanitary pad. Apart from Pad man, the superstar also shared tease posters of his other upcoming releases of 2017, debutant director Shree Narayan Singh’s Toilet Ek Prem Katha, Subhash Kapoor’s Jolly LLB and Shankar’s much awaited 2.0.
