We know that the Golmaal team has decided to shift the release date to avoid a clash. Going by the whispers we hear from close circles, the release date has been decided. Apparently, the makers of Golmaal 4 are planning to shift the film’s release date to Republic Day 2018. A source close to the film says, “The team is looking at shifting the date to 26th January 2018. There is no point of releasing two big films on the same day as both will eat into each other’s business.”

26th January is a long weekend and will work in the film’s favour. Clearly, it’s a wise thing to do. Earlier, Shivaay and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil too released on the same date and Shivaay suffered a blow. Learning from their past experiences, the makers are avoiding a clash at the box-office and a loss of business. In the past as well, whenever two big films have released on the same day, they have ended up impacting each other’s business. If true, this one’s a wise move given the film is aiming at a long weekend.
