Arjun Kapoor on his relationship with Janhvi, Khushi: You have to let go of the angst you had while growing up
Arjun Kapoor is currently in the news for several reasons. One of them being the trailer release of his upcoming film Panipat and his alleged relationship with Malaika Arora. Apart from that, the actor also shares a deep relationship with his step-sisters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor. The bond between them grew stronger after the death of Sridevi, Arjun's step-mother.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, the 2 States actor said that he doesn’t like to talk much about his relationship with his sisters. He said, "Sometimes you just realise that you have to let go of the angst you perhaps had while growing up and be more mature. Life is constantly changing. I love the fact that In the process of being there for my father, I could connect to the two amazing people who are my sisters. God has been kind that way. We are still discovering each other and I think that is how it should be."
Arjun is pretty close to his sisters, particularly with Janhvi. The two Kapoors have become inseparable and often hang out and celebrate all the festivals and special occasions together. It seems we may see them in a film together as soon as well.
Meanwhile, in the same interview, the actor also spoke about his relationship with Malaika Arora, and the prospects of them getting married soon. He said, "Marriage! Marriage! Marriage! Marriage! We don't want to get married. We will tell when we want to get married and we will invite everyone. Have you seen the way my family has marriages? It is the MET Gala. You think they will allow me to get married in hiding and that too on a Good Friday which everyone was speculating? Good Friday is such a bad day to get married."
The two have been in a relationship for a while, and their clandestine romance is now public, as the couple doesn't shy away from being clicked by the media. They have often spoken about each other in their respective interviews and fans are now waiting for the good news. But there's another adage that goes like- Good things take time.
On the work front, Kapoor is gearing up for Ashutosh Gowariker's Panipat, starring Sanjay Dutt and Kriti Sanon, and all set to release on December 6. Arjun Kapoor plays Sadashivrao Bhau, who served as the commander-in-chief of the Maratha army. Sanjay Dutt plays the founder of the Durrani empire, Ahmad Shah Abdali, and Kriti Sanon plays Parvati Bai.
